4. Definitions
Algebraic expression: a combination of one or more variables; it may include numbers and operation signs
Variable: a letter or symbol, such as a,b, or n, that represents a number/place holder for the unknown value
Constant: a numerical value that stays the same/a quantity that doesn’t change

Constant (red squares) stays the same for each figure; 2 red squares each time
