2. What is the Senior ACT Assessment?
Designed to assess high school students' general educational development and their ability to complete college-level work.

The tests cover four skill areas:
English, mathematics, reading and science
Optional Writing test - not all colleges require
Total possible score of 36

4. What is the Senior ACT Assessment?
For state and district reporting, most recent administration is reported for seniors.
Change two years ago, just college bound seniors in 2015
2016 and forward, all seniors had score due to 2015 ACT state testing
Students can designate which administration they want reported to colleges (cannot break apart)
Reports represent performance of graduating seniors from 2017

10. Future Fluctuations
Starting with the school year, students will select whether they want to take the ACT, the SAT or neither during the school day for the state college readiness testing requirement.
Starting next year, we will eliminate year to year score comparisons.
