CE/Training in UW-ACE: Who’s in?
Guidelines for “other” uses June 2006, UCIST approved CE courses for Society of Management Accountants. Other interest: Office for Human Dev, CTE, more in CE. Questions to tackle: Who "approves" which courses will run in UW-ACE? (Not CE Steering Committee. UCIST?) Run a separate system for CE courses? Or ANGEL "domain“ for different "look" for the two uses. ACE Ops to discuss, bring proposal to UCIST.

OLE 2010 Review Project: What
Consider online learning directions beyond May 2010 (current ANGEL agreement). Review campus needs. Review commercial and open systems (e.g., Sakai, Moodle), trends, presence management, PDA support, Math support. Sponsored by UCIST, with involvement from campus groups.

OLE 2010 Review Project: To date
Team: UW-ACE Ops, faculty members: James Skidmore, Joe Sanderson (on sabbatical), students: Andres Fuentes (VP Ed), Betina Lee (GSA), Bookstore. First meetings 13 June (no faculty or students), project overview, review charter. Meetings started again on October 1st. Faculty input session set for December 3rd. Collecting specs, will review existing comparisons, interviews with other groups. Want to get message out through Bulletin to inform campus of project ... OK to proceed?
