4 Individual Task Write a paragraph, starting with the following sentence: He knew the wolf now, as the wolf knew him, and he nodded at it, nodded and smiled. Make sure to focus on descriptive detail to help the reader visualise the scene. Appeal to the five senses to really bring the setting to life.

11 Discussion The two main events that happened in this chapter were the moose attack and the tornado. How did these events affect Brian? Did he handle them well?

12 Writing Task Imagine that the moose has been interviewed
to get their side of the incident at the lake. On the sheet provided, fill out the who, what, where, when, why and how of the story, according to the moose. Write a short newspaper article about the moose attack. Remember to give it a catchy title to get the reader’s attention. A newspaper article must be written in formal style: third person narrative (he, they, an onlooker, it, etc), words written in full (it is NOT it’s), no slang words, and so on.
