Democracy: People choose their leader Israel- Reuven Rivlin Turkey- Recep Tayyip Erdoğas

4 Forms of Government: Dictatorship
Dictatorship: Most extreme form of government. One person has the full power Iraq- Fuad Masum Syria- Bashar al-Assad

Current president of Israel since 2014. 10th President Born in Rehavia/Jerusalem-1939 Wants equality for Israel’s people Wants to keep Israel Democratic (Strictly) and Jewish under the government’s rule Wants peace between the different types of people in Israel Reuven Rivlin

7 Middle East and relations with Israel
Saudi Arabia have no formal diplomatic relations The Saudis don’t recognize them as a state Arab people were mad at the jews from the beginning when israel was first started, during world war one the british government convinced the Arab to revolt against the Ottoman Empire, and in return the Arabs would get an independent Arab state in the region, and Palestine. But instead the jews got the state. The two nations had four wars the include the War of Independence in 1948, Sinal war in 1956, six day war in 1967, and the yom kippur war in All of these wars were started by the Arabs.
