Imagine if you were this boy… Walking for hours on end just to get a sip of DIRTY water. Would you not want someone to help you by donating just a pound or 2 a month. Even though you may not see physically how its changed his life and health, you could imagine how happy and grateful you would be… Let this boy feel like this girl!! Full of happiness and joy, just for water. When we see water we dont feel like this girl, we dont imagine this boy doing this everyday for hours on end. Donate today and make the world a healthier and safer place. Poverty was not chosen…!!

Without safe water or sanitation, people are trapped in a cycle of poverty and disease. Across the developing world, millions of women are wasting precious time collecting dirty water, children are dying from preventable diarrhoeal diseases, and communities have open sewers running through them. For disabled people like Amin Uddin, life was very difficult in the Beltola slum in Dhaka, until specially designed disabled facilities were built after he successfully campaigned for them. Infants In countries with little or no social security, older people are often forced to pay people to fetch them dirty water or make other sacrifices such as going without food or medication. New taps installed at a school in Tanzania. Teacher Abraham Amas says, Before, girls were not attending well, they were always late because they were fetching water. Women The time-consuming burden of collecting water in developing communities generally falls on women, often taking several trips a day and many hours of their time

The reason I have chosen this campaign is because it makes me feel more emotions than one. When I researched this campaign I thought it was going to be less heartfelt than it actually is. For example, I never knew it was going to be so imaginative and emotive.

What is the purpose of the campaign? The purpose of Water Aid is to help children and families around the world feel more secure about what they are drinking. Instead of drinking life-threatening, dirty water, you can help yourself to a filtered cup of water. For people living in poverty this is a big change to their lives, but for us, its an everyday journey!
