2 Start the year off right!
Your 1st Science grade will be for turning in COMPLETE forms By Tuesday - 100% Wednesday - 90% Thursday - 80% Friday - 70%

3 SKYWARD FORMS If you have a signed receipt, please turn that in now.
If your parents do not have access to a computer, please inform your science teacher.

4 First things First Write your Last name, First name in the space at the top right of every form.

5 Human Sexuality Op-Out Letter
Print your name on the Student Name line Parents only sign if they do NOT want you to attend This form must be returned

6 Migrant Survey Fill out your name, grade and school
If the answer is “no” to question #1, you’re done! If the answer is ”yes”, keep going

11 Personal Responsibility
As a student of Angleton ISD, I will accept personal responsibility for reporting any misuse of the Angleton ISD’s electronic communications system to the teacher, system administrator, campus principal, or assistant superintendent. Misuse can come in many forms, and is not limited to message(s) sent or received that indicate or suggest pornography, unethical or illegal solicitation, racism, sexism, inappropriate language, cyber bullying, and other issues described in appropriate online behavior below. I understand that any code of conduct governing the behavior of students in Angleton ISD applies when I using Angleton ISD electronic communications system.

12 Acceptable Use My assigned account will be used only in support of educational activities and research within the educational goals and objectives of Angleton ISD. I am personally responsible for this provision at all times and am aware of unacceptable conduct. Use of any other organizational network, computing resource, or home and personal Internet use will be compliant with rules and acceptable use appropriate to that network and Angleton ISD electronic communications system. 13 Acceptable Use Transmission of any material in violation of any Federal or state policy or law is prohibited. This includes, but is not limited to: copyright material, threatening, bullying, harassing, or obscene material, and material protected by trade secret. Use of commercial activities “for profit” is not acceptable on an educational network. I will not use my AISDnet account for product or service advertisement or political lobbying. I am aware that the inappropriate use of electronic information resources can be a violation of local, state, and federal laws and that I can be prosecuted for violating those laws.

14 Appropriate Online Behavior
You are expected to abide by the generally accepted rules of the network etiquette. These rules include, but are not limited to, the following: BE POLITE - Never send or encourage others to send messages containing abusive language. b. USE APPROPRIATE LANGUAGE - Remember that you are a representative of Angleton ISD on a non-private system. You may be alone with your computer, but what you say and do can be viewed globally! Never swear, bully, use vulgarities, or any other inappropriate language. Continued next slide

c. PRIVACY – Do not reveal your name, username/password, age, school, home address or personal phone number or the address and phone number of students or colleagues. Do not share photos of yourself, family, friends, or home with people you meet online. Do not forward s with another’s address revealed. d. ELECTRONIC MAIL - Electronic mail ( ) is not guaranteed to be private because it can be monitored. Messages relating to or in support of illegal activities must be reported to the authorities. 16 Appropriate Online Behavior
e. DISRUPTIONS - Do not use the electronic communications system in any way that would disrupt its use by others. f. CONSIDERATIONS: Be brief. More people will read your information if it is short and clear. Minimize spelling errors. Make sure your message is easy to understand and read. Remember that humor and satire is very often misinterpreted. Cite references for any facts you represent. Keep signature brief. Post only to groups you know. Do not open s or attachments from unknown sources.

17 Services Angleton ISD makes no warranties of any kind, whether expressed or implied, for the service it is providing. Angleton ISD will not be responsible for any damages suffered while on this system. The damages include loss of data as a result of delays, non-deliveries, misdeliveries-deliveries, computer virus, or service interruptions or malfunctions. Use of any information obtained via AISDnet is at your own risk. Angleton ISD specifically disclaims any responsibility for the accuracy of information obtained through its services. Angleton ISD is not liable for an individual’s inappropriate use of district’s electronic communications systems or violations of copyright restrictions or other laws, or for costs incurred by users through use of Angleton ISD’s electronic communications systems.

18 Privacy The District retains control, custody and supervision of the Angleton ISD electronic communications system. The District reserves the right to monitor all computer and Internet activity by students. Students have no expectations of privacy in their use of school computers, including and stored files.

19 Security Security on any computer system is a high priority because there are so many users. If you identify any security problem, notify a teacher, campus principal, district system administrator, or assistant superintendent at once. Never demonstrate the problem to other users. Never use another individual’s account. All use of the system must be under your own account or under the approval of an AISD staff person. Any user identified as a security risk will be denied access to the AISDnet.

20 Vandalism Vandalism is defined as any malicious attempt to harm or destroy hardware, files, or data of another user or any other agencies or networks that are connected to the system. This includes, but is not limited to, the uploading or creating of computer viruses. Any vandalism will result in the loss of computer services, disciplinary action, and legal referral.

21 Internet Safety Sign and return this today
If we don’t have this on file, you cannot use the computers.

22 Child Nutrition Only 1 is needed for your household
Not every student needs to hand it in Return to me ASAP!!

23 AISD Honor Code Must be signed by you and a parent/guardian
