Algebra II Science Social Studies Languages other than English 2 Fine Arts PE (1) Electives/Endorsement Courses 5 Total Credits for Graduation 22 26 Students must graduate with the Distinguished Level of Achievement in order to be eligible for top 10% automatic admission at any Texas public university and also to be considered for the TEXAS Grant.

7 General Information about Levels
Dual Credit Dual Credit students earn both high school credit and college credit for specific high school courses; specific entry requirements must be met before enrolling in a dual credit course. Students are starting their college transcript. This is also a weighted class. Honors Students may be classified as Honors students but not be dually enrolled with Angelo State for DC. These students do receive the weighted GPA point. Regular-level The curriculum, content, and state TEKS (learning objectives) for the course are completed at grade level. Pre-AP/AP The curriculum and learning objectives are created by CollegeBoard, a national organization also responsible for the design of the SAT. Advanced Placement students have the potential to earn possible college credit by taking AP exam in the spring. This is a weighted class.

Entrance Exams 6-semester transcript for college admission Course load Involvement: Clubs/Organizations Community Service Volunteer Services Employment Faith-based groups Camps & workshops 10th Growing in the area of skills and involvement. 9th Exploring opportunities & planting roots in areas of interest. 11th Defining characteristics of focus.

Do not lighten your academic load for your junior year Meet with your school counselor during posted times as needed Stay involved in school activities Start developing a resume/portfolio Pay attention to announcements and s Standardized Testing Prepare for the PSAT/National Merit (Oct.11 th) Score Report help study for SAT SAT/ACT - Spring College Exploration Explore colleges on the Web Visit colleges if you can (2 visits per yr) Attend college fairs GET ACTIVE IN NAVIANCE! Personal Make sure content of social media is appropriate Create an appropriate address Talk to your parents/guardians about your future
