Fall 2015 Semester: courses, $ Average Courseload: 15 credits/semester So, approximately $351 and change per credit. Let’s just call it $350… it’s easier for math Also, Go Badgers!

4 The AP Exam The Advanced Placement United States History (APUSH) exam is administered in May. A score of 3, 4, or 5 is considered passing. A score of 3, 4, or 5 will get you 3 credits at UW-Madison A score of 4 or 5 will earn you 6 credits at many other schools The AP Exam cost $91 to take in the Spring of 2017 (unlikely to increase significantly for Spring 2018)

5 Bottom Line… For the cost of about $91, you can get up to six credits’ worth of study out of the way. As a refresher, each credit costs about $350. $350 * 3 credits = $1050 $350 * 6 credits = $2100 That’s a lot of Ramen.
