We are going to read through the uses of a comma in more detail. Then you will work on a worksheet. I have to make sure you know your grammar before we start writing essays! In your groups, you will re-write this paragraph so that there are no run-on sentences. You can use simple, compound and complex sentences. Well to start with my hair looked terrible and then the science teacher called on me to give my oral report and I was counting on having another day at least to get ready for it and when I got to English class I realized I had left my purse in science class and I didn’t have time to go back and get it and to top it off Mrs. Edmunds gave us a surprise quiz on our reading assignments.
