Who am I? My name is Peter Firbank.
I am CEYCs Worship Coordinator and unofficial designated pessimist.

Who are we? 16 to 25 year olds who represent their diocese as part of the council. We are people who are passionate about the Church of England and wish to be involved in how the Church runs itself.

What do we do? Represent - taking the opinions of young people from all over the Church of England to General Synod and write motions and petitions to be sent to the Archbishops. Enrich - discerning and develop young people’s gifts and callings within the wider context of the church, gain knowledge of the Church of England and experience the differing traditions and views within it. Engage - debating issues affecting all young people, supporting them in their spiritual journey and being biblically led, prayerfully led, and love centred.

How do we work? Full Council Residential In November
- Meeting of all diocesan representatives Two-year term -Diocesan reps are elected or appointed for 2 years Aged over 16, less than 25 -This is the age group we represent CEYC is run by Core Group - A team of 8 young people who make everything happen We create motions and petitions - We send our recommendations to the Archbishops
