2 World History Nationalism- a sense of belonging, loyalty and pride in your nation or country. After French Revolution, European governments sought to re-establish monarchies at the Congress of Vienna (1814) Congress of Vienna- come up with idea of principle of intervention, countries can intervene when revolutions threaten monarchies
