The Vizier- the head of the Government: organized taxation, agriculture, irrigation and helped the Pharaoh in the court of law.
Royal Court Workers-overseers of the treasury, building works, laws and courts.
Local Governors-Sometimes by hereditary watched over the nomes
Scribes- kept written records of everything. They enjoyed a high status of work and lifestyle. Many people did not learn to read or write, and they were recruited from all classes in Egyptian society.
