This process is having a notable impact on various financial aspects Financial flows between borrowers and lenders Securities market activity The analysis of credit extended by credit institutions with implications for Monetary analysis The preparation of the financial accounts.

The proposal: First step The OECD countries would have to work on this issue using a broad- based approach: To identify the securitisation processes being carried in OECD countries. To exchange the various experiences of the countries to obtain the appropriate information on the new financial intermediaries, instruments and markets that have been emerging.
