Plantiff: Norma L. McCorvey ("Jane Roe")
A pregneant single woman brought up the case not having the resources to fly to another state to be able to terminate her pregnancy in a safe medical environment. Under the First, Fourth, Ninth, and Fourteenth Amendments she had the protection of privacy & the outlawing of abortion in Texas denied her this right.

“The State does have an important and legitimate interest in preserving and protecting the health of the pregnant woman and it has still another important and legitimate interest in protecting the potentiality of human life.“ The state does not agree to the murder of a human being There’s a lot of arguments of when an embryo becomes a human being.

Decision & why Abortion falls under the “zone of privacy” of a women the U.s Constitution repects the right of a women being able to choose to terminate a pregnancy. Therefore the Supreme Court ruled to invalidated any state laws that prohibited the practice of abortion.

Lasting Impact Until this very day this court case has provoked so many disputes around ethics, religion, and biology. The decision of the womens p[rivacy concerning the potentially future life of a human being. Pro-choice & pro-life Women have the decision to do as they choose.
