3 Graduation Plans Choose which plan to follow: Foundation Plan
Foundation with Endorsement Distinguished Level of Achievement (DLA) Must Graduate on the DAP or DLA for top 10% auto admission consideration

4 Foundation Credit Requirements
4 English (Eng 1, Eng 2, Eng 3, and advanced Eng) 3 Math (to include Algebra 1 & Geometry) 3 Science (Biology and 2 additional sciences) 3 Social Studies (W Geo or W Hist, US Hist, Govt and Eco) 1 PE 1 Fine Art 2 credits of the same Foreign Language 0.5 Speech - Professional Comm or Comm App 0.5 College & Career Choices (class of 2018 & after only) 8.5 Electives (4.5 credits can be local credits) Total Credits - 26

5 Foundation with Endorsements
Endorsements require 28 credits for graduation, including: 4th Math Credit 4th Science Credit additional elective credits in a coherent sequence within the endorsement

6 Distinguished Level of Achievement
Complete the Foundation Requirements Complete Algebra 2 Earn an endorsement

7 Top 10% Automatic Admissions
Only students completing the Distinguished level are eligible for college admission under the Top 10% automatic admissions provision.

Timeline – Pay attention to admission deadlines. Apply as early as possible but watch dates! UT Austin and Texas A&M have a December 1st deadline. Top 10% - Automatic admission to Texas public universities (Top 7% for UT) College Visits are invaluable Admission is possible to selective colleges if not in the top 10% All public 2 and 4 year colleges use the Apply Texas application for admissions. Many private colleges in Texas have started using it as well. See the website for the list colleges.
