MA hosted the 7th MassDOT Innovation and Mobility Exchange, two-day event, April 2018
Purpose: bring diverse stakeholders together to share ideas, sponsor peer-to-peer learning, and collaborate on transportation issues of mutual interest.
1,237 registrations, 93 sponsors and exhibitors, and 40 sessions
MA hosted the 18th Moving Together Conference, September 2017
Purpose: advance healthy transportation in MA
844 registrations, 45 sponsors and exhibitors, and 19 sessions

Newsletters
An additional pilot study is underway. Next time you take a walk around Prescott Park you may notice a platform attached to the southern pier. This is the platform where they have recently deployed a turbine system. Instruments on the platform will collect data on tides, turbidity and salinity as well as chlorophyll and oxygen levels in the water. It is anticipated that the tidal energy created by the turbine will power the structural sensors and the possibility of much more electrical demand. Stay tuned.
