SUNDAY 13th May 2018 Chapel A Giving Group pm, Wed 13th June Giving is really important at Chapel A. One way we demonstrate this is by giving away some of our income each year (just over 10%, for 2018/19). A working group will meet on Wed 13th June at Clare's (Model Farm, Meanwood) to look at how we make decisions about Chapel A's giving (e.g. how much, to where, for how long?), and also how we might best support and engage with beneficiaries more generally (e.g. through prayer, personal involvement etc). If you would like to come and take part in this conversation, please contact Clare Library of Things We're compiling a list of people who have things that they'd be prepared to share with others; typically the kind of thing you may have at home and use occasionally but it's sitting there unused for most the time. This could include garden equipment, tools, kitchen appliances, games, leisure equipment etc. If you want to find out more or you'd be interested in sharing anything within our community please let me (Pete Wilkie) know and I'll start to compile an initial list. Women's Away Day 'Taking Time Together' Rachel Muers will be spending the day with us on Saturday 19th May at Westwood Centre in Huddersfield. A relaxed time to hear some inspired thoughts, have lunch and enjoy some space away! £10 for the day, 10 am until 4pm. Please contact Clare to book your place, We always want to care & look out for each other as a community, but please remember that except for when they are in their designated groups, all children & young people remain the responsibility of their parents/carers at all times.
