Enter Date Literacy We will continue our Jolly Phonics this week with the letters n, ck, e, & h. Please continue to practice them daily at home. We will also begin our “Handwriting Without Tears” book. We will really be focusing on proper pencil grip and starting letters at the top of the page. The kids will also be bringing home their first book of the week. We do not expect the kids to be able to read this book independently, but it is a great book to read with your child. We will continue working with colors and daily color activities. The students will also begin writing in their journals. Some students will draw pictures, some will be able to add labels to their pictures, and some will write words. You will be amazed at your child’s progress from now until June!
