1 Gas Law Showdown You need a calculator & PT
Notebooks with task 3 questions Turn in ideal gas law sage n scribe if completed (if not you will have time at end of class- maybe)

2 Task 3 Questions You should have at least 1 question if not 2 in your notebook. If you do not have a question written please go sit at a lab table and write your questions. Find someone who you are not sitting with and… Switch notebooks. Give feedback on their question: is it open ended, testable, and define the variables Once both done discuss how they could make their question better

3 Details of the project:
Making Scientific Teams: You may pair up with another student to complete this project. Teams do not have to be in the same period, but will have to present individual to their class on peer evaluation day. Pairs must be approved before start of the project. You may not team up midway through the project. It will be up to you and your partner to split the work evenly. Scientific teams will receive the same grade on the project and may not argue grade differentiation. Choose your team wisely.

4 Details of the project:
Goal: Implement at least 3 topics you have learned this semester to a project that will solve a modern day problem or make a positive impact on your community. Topic List: Chemical Bonds Stoichiometry Metallic Balancing reactions  Solutions Covalent Converting moles /grams Molarity/ Concentrations Ionic Percent Yield Dilutions Types of reactions Polar vs. Nonpolar Single Replacement Gas Laws Acid & Base Double Replacement 22.4 L per mole pH and pOH Combustion Ideal Gas Law Neutralization reactions Synthesis Kinetic Molecular Theory Titrations Decomposition Combine Gas Law

5 A 14.8 L balloon is at 255 K. What will be its volume if the temperature is 304 K
Ideal or combined gas law? (write equation) Identify your variables Solve the problem

6 The volume of gas is 0. 2 L at 275 K and 92. 1 kPa
The volume of gas is 0.2 L at 275 K and 92.1 kPa. How many moles are in the sample? Ideal or combined gas law? (write equation) Identify your variables Solve the problem

7 A sample of propane occupies 250 L at 0. 877 atm and 38°C
A sample of propane occupies 250 L at atm and 38°C. What is the volume at 1.0 atm and 95°C Ideal or combined gas law? (write equation) Identify your variables Solve the problem

8 What is the pressure inside a tank when it contains 87
What is the pressure inside a tank when it contains 87.3 mL of He if it holds 52.0 mL at 9.63 atm? Ideal or combined gas law? (write equation) Identify your variables Solve the problem

9 The volume of a gas is 200. mL at 275 K and 3. 5 moles
The volume of a gas is 200. mL at 275 K and 3.5 moles. What is the pressure of the gas? Ideal or combined gas law? (write equation) Identify your variables Solve the problem

10 What pressure is exerted by 94.6 g of CO2 at 57°C and 0.750 L?
Ideal or combined gas law? (write equation) Identify your variables Solve the problem
