1 The Person God Can Use Luke 1:26-38

2 1. If God Can Use Mary, He Can Use Any Of Us

3 Luke 1:26-28 And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth. To a virgin engaged to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin’s name was Mary. And the angel came in to her, and said, Greetings, you that are highly favored, the Lord is with you: blessed are you among women.

4 1 Corinthians 1:26-29 For you see your calling…how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty not many noble, are called: But God has chosen the foolish things of this world to confound the wise; and God has chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; and base things of the world, and things which are despised, God has chosen, yes, and things which are not, to bring to nothing those that are: That no one should glory in His presence.

5 …That no one should glory in His presence.
1 Corinthians 1:29 …That no one should glory in His presence.

6 2. No Matter What Your Problem, God Is With You

7 Luke 1:29-31 And when she saw him, she was greatly troubled at his saying, and wondered what manner of greeting this might be. And the angel said unto her, Don’t be afraid, Mary: for you have found favor with God. And behold you shall conceive in your womb, and bring forth a son, and shall call his name JESUS.

8 Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

9 Deuteronomy 23:5 …the LORD your God turned the curse into a blessing for you, because the LORD your God loved you.

10 Habakkuk 3:17-19 Although the fig tree has no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines, even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren, even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. The LORD is my strength, and He will make my feet as deer’s feet, and He will make me to walk in high places…
