What We’re Learning
Reading
We will read a trickster tale called “Tops and Bottom”. Our story skills are: theme, point of view, visualizing, idioms, and homophones. Our story summative will be next week.
Language Arts
We will begin our Adjective/Adverb unit. This week we will learn what adjectives and articles are.
**We will continue our Guided Reading Novel Study groups**
Math
We will relate fractions and whole numbers, find fractions of a group, and use unit fractions to problem solve.
Science & Social
Studies
Science – we will begin the Life Cycles Stem Scope.
Social Studies – we will learn about different important battles of the Revolutionary War.
