FUNGUS There are hundreds of types of fungus in plants. Fungus can help and destroy plants in different ways.

Adhesive Fungus Adhesive Fungus has short sticky branches consisting of one to three cells projecting from the threads of mycelium.

Adhesive Fungi The most vigorous worms die long before the fungal threads and hyphae have penetrated into their bodies.

Facts About Fungus Fungus grows by decomposing tissues
Fungus spreads in roots and in plants and also reproduces by asexual seeds.
