Shared Talent What is the role of design in moving us towards a more sustainable fashion industry where social justice, ecological balance, culture and identity are part of the definition of fashion? What are the practical implications of such a role?

Shared Talent Design is what links creativity and innovation. It shapes ideas to become practical and attractive propositions for users or customers. Design may be described as creativity deployed to a specific end. The Cox Review of Creativity in Business, 2005

Shared Talent - 12 London College of Fashion students from across disciplines. - Working with South African crafts groups supporting women with HIV and AIDS. - Bringing skills and creativity together to create new fashion products as a result of collaboration and sharing of talent.

Shared Talent as a model is currently undergoing its third incarnation, working with Indian designers to showcase Indian sustainable textiles, with the support of Defra.
