FASHION The students will need to bring with them the fabric and matching thread for each sewing project and the materials necessary for the craft project. FASHION FCCLA: Family, Career and Consumer Leaders of America is an important part of the FCS program. FASHION GRADING: Tests and some labs count 50%; daily activities, general labs count 50%. Rubrics will be used for special projects and advise about special grading procedures/expectations. FASHION YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY WORK MISSED DURING EXCUSED ABSENCES. Any work not made up in a reasonable time (10 days) will be graded as a zero in the computer. FASHION Classroom rules (continued) Purses, books, backpacks need to be placed on the floor or in the basket under your chair – not on the table One person at a time to the bathroom – within reason Use my art supplies and materials ONLY for my classwork and projects. I cannot afford to supply the whole school!!

FASHION Classroom rules (continued) The equipment in the room, including microwave ovens, refrigerators, sewing machines, clothes washer/dryer are for use by my classes only. They are not built for 400 people a day to use them. Your failure to plan is not my crisis!! Homework is meant to be done at HOME!!

FASHION Classroom rules (continued) Observe ALL safety procedures ALL the time. I will not tolerate horseplay, dangerous knife handling, or other disruptions at all. All school/district rules are in full effect in here – this includes cell phones and dress code!! Clean up after yourself and your group before you leave the room – I will come find you!

I will give you 5 days per semester that you may use for studying and/or homework. There will be a chart posted in the sewing lab for you to keep up with your daily activities.
