: SC Adult Education began the Standards-in-Action Project
: SC Adult Education Standards-in-Action Cohort Two
: SC Adult Education sent team to the Adult Education Standards-in-Action Train-the-Trainer (Lisa Hannon, Beth Martin, Kathy Woodson, Christa Brumfield, Mary Gaston)
This team proposed a training plan for the program year, and worked under the direction of LaCrystal Jackson and the Office of Adult Education.

5. College & Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education Training Plan: 2016-17, Completed
August 2016: Adult Ed CCRS Team led a train-the-trainer session in Columbia
Fall 2016: Adult Ed CCRS in ELA & Math, Part I, delivered in each RAETAC region & at the Fall Institute
Fall 2016: Adult Ed CCRS, Part 2 for Directors delivered twice
Fall 2016: Adult Ed CCRS, Part 2 for Teachers delivered twice

6. College & Career Readiness Standards for Adult Education Training Plan: To be Delivered
Beginning February 2017: Adult Ed CCRS, Part 3 for Teachers; on-site observations of standards-based lessons

7. SC College & Career Ready Standards for Adult Education
South Carolina implemented the SC CCRS, which serve as SC’s K-12 Standards
SC Adult Education were already implementing the Adult Ed CCRS
SC Adult Education Standards Workgroup is being formed

8. SC Adult Education Standards Workgroup
Develop AE Standards as a subset of SC’s CCRS
Identify ways to document usage of the standards and WIOA components in the classroom; and
Build a database/repository of Standards and WIOA- related instruction, plans, etc. that can be used or adapted by educators

9. SC Adult Education Standards Video Lesson Project
Stipends for short, standards-based video lessons by SC Adult Education teachers
Bonus stipends for standards-based, contextualized video lessons!
Digital Literacy Day will offer a session on how to create these lessons using a tool like Screencastify
