What is Making Every Contact Count?
New approach by NHS and local authorities to improve health and reduce health inequalities. MECC focuses on the lifestyle issues that, when addressed, can make the greatest improvement to an individual’s health and wellbeing: Stopping smoking Managing alcohol intake Healthy eating and Keeping to a healthy weight Being physically active Improving mental health and wellbeing

Future of CAHSC Legacy funding has now been invested in CAHSC activities over last 2 years We have reserves which will allow us to operate for 1 further year We need to raise funds! WDF only provides us with funds for a part time administrator days a week

Charging and fund raising for CAHSC
Commissioned training/learning opportunities – covers our costs Bespoke training – raises small amount of funds for CAHSC Outstanding Care Forum – covers our costs Membership – is free

Sponsorship proposals
Care organisations to take out annual sponsorship of CAHSC – contributes to your commitment to learning and development, priority access to training and events, reduction on training and events. Dependent on size of organisation – between £275 and £750 a year
