How to use Configure smartphone or tablet to ‘nhs.net’ as default Download the Kardia app Create a Kardia account using NHS.net address Register the device with the AHSN network In app settings, turn off notifications, reminders & recordings 6. With patient - record ECG 7. Trace outcomes – a) normal, b) unclassified, c) possible AF 8. Ensure no patient identifiable data is left on the device 9. Support is available

Next steps We will – arrange distribution of devices and contact your Practice Manager with detailed guidance notes You should - Agree how you will use the device within your local strategy to help detect more AF cases (and help avoid AF strokes) They will – Technomed will collect unidentified patient data
