Procedures Bring your materials to class every day & be prepared.
Upon entering the classroom, sharpen your pencils. At the beginning of each class, you will work on Warm-ups for up to 10 minutes. After reviewing the warm-ups, we will review the assignment given the previous day. Then, we will work on the day’s activity and/or lesson. When working in groups, every student is responsible for working on the activity. Help each other and learn from each other. 8

You are expected to complete all assignments
You are expected to complete all assignments. Parents will be called if assignments are not completed. If you require extra help, it is your responsibility to request tutoring. You will have online assignment from the GO Math Book as well as from Think Through Math (TTM) or Study Island. I tutor on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays after school. At the end of class, you must remain seated. I will dismiss you by groups. If you leave the room, you must scan the QR code and complete the online form.

We will walk past the bus pick up area during a fire drill.
During a lock down or shelter in place drill, no students are allowed to leave. We will be locked in the classroom. I will check your binder and/or interactive journals at random times. Please clean up after yourselves. I will dismiss the class once the room is in order.

Expectations Materials: You must bring your materials to class every day. Behavior: I expect everybody to be on his/her best behavior daily. Respect all people. Make sure to follow dress code. Attitude: I expect everybody to have a positive attitude about learning. Being positive will help you succeed. Tardies: You must have a tardy slip when you are tardy. Attendance: Please make sure you are present every day. You are responsible for missed work. Seating Arrangements: I change your seating arrangement at least once every six weeks. Hall Passes: I do not let you out of class unless you have an emergency. Grades: Keep up with your grades on your assignment log. Agenda: You will write the objective and homework for the day on your agenda. 11

Binder Organization Warm-ups: Work out all the problems on the sheet for 10 minutes. We will grade them before moving on. Notes: Book pages. Keep up with your notes daily. Assignments: Keep up with your assignments on a daily basis. Quizzes & Tests: Keep graded papers. Vocabulary: You will keep your glossary. WRITE THE DATE ON ALL PAPERS!!!!! 12
