3 Arkitektkopia was founded in 1951
Arkitektkopia was founded in We have around 300 employees at 27 locations around Sweden. In 1951, Östen Grankvist saw a newspaper ad - Arkitektkopia for sale. He discussed it with his wife, Inga, bought the company, kept the name and began the journey of becoming the print house with the industry's broadest reach across Sweden. We have been involved in the construction of many of Sweden's best-known buildings: The TV tower (Kaknästornet) and the Globe Arena in Stockholm, the Turning Torso in Malmö, the Universeum and the Museum of World Culture in Gothenburg and the Öresund Bridge. Over the years, Arkitektkopia has acquired over 200 companies, so our expertise is second to none in both breadth and depth. Cool fact: Arkitektkopia's yellow and black color scheme derives from Grankvist's keen interest in the soccer team Elfsborg.
