Main themes Registered Charity No: SCO 23487 Support for all the positive things that are already happening in relation to the Hall and the sports pitch; Support for providing a separate entrance for bunk room/s and making them self-contained so that bunkroom guests don’t impact on hall users and vice versa; Support for exploring further the ideas of: community café; provision of more sociable and multi-use space; and developing the outdoor space. Some caution advised in not over-stretching committee members and volunteers.

Bunkrooms – our thinking
Registered Charity No: SCO 23487 Use existing foot print but reconfigure to provide: Separate entrance 1x 2 person bunkroom 1x 3 or 4 person bunkroom Shared sitting area and kitchenette Shared shower and toilet facilities Why? Market changing – people looking for smaller units; booking patterns suggest average per room per night is 2/3 people (tbc) When? Draw up plans over summer, complete work in the autumn

Outdoor space – our thinking
Registered Charity No: SCO 23487 Outdoor toddlers learning area (thanks to Co-op funding) Purchase additional land between village hall and church hall Landscape Provision of community garden with seating? Children’s play area?

Café and multi-use social area
Registered Charity No: SCO 23487 Research business models for community café eg Kilchoan and Dalmally Test interest in café through pop-up café in support of community library Consider how lobby/living room area could be reconfigured to provide welcoming space
