They use less fuel than normal boats They are cheaper to operate, and safer to run Less disruptive to the marine environment than a propeller driven ship Depending on the hovercraft they can go up to 145kph (90mph)

7 Negative aspects about hovercrafts
They are very noisy Is a drawback for "convert" military operations Fairly tricky to pilot Mechanically more complex
