Health Advocate performed two sets of analyses to demonstrate the value of its Wellness and Biometric services. Each analysis included a cohort of clients who followed best practices as they relate to structuring their wellness program and employee incentives. Study #1: Evaluated engagement trends for clients who offered strong incentives and compared engagement to clients who offered minimal incentives

3 Demonstrating value by delivering improved outcomes
Study #2: Examined improvements in hypertension, diabetes and obesity risk over a 3-year period of time for employees of clients who offer best practice incentives. Year 1 and Year 3 values were compared for employees who were determined to be high-risk. Only those employees who participated in the program all 3 years were included.
