10-8.5 4 “triangles” - Program/ law and date are identified correctly - Definition of program/ law is clear and accurate - Explanation of how the program/law addresses one of the “R’s” is clear and accurate - at least 4 bulleted facts examples and details are accurate and relevant Poster New Deal Law/ program is evident Images and text are used effectively Goal of the program is evident Poster is persuasive- “propaganda” that “sells” the program to the public

As you visit the posters, you may want to decide/ jot down notes on at least one program from each of the goals (RELIEF, RECOVERY, REFORM) *****Essay question- be prepared to write about one program aimed at relief, one program aimed at recovery, and one at reform. (You already have “notes” in your purple packets, and I will put this PowerPoint on-line)

Assisting elderly, those unable to work Retirees get a pension fund People with disabilities get $$ Unemployment compensation 65+ eligible for SS today Biggest part of federal budget
