the anthropological study of cities
A series of community studies in a nation, celebrates variation in its small- town and rural life
There is much more to national life than small communities

Since the 1950s, Systematically investigated urban problems and life styles (USA, Canada and abroad)

Systematically- arranged in or comprising an ordered system; orderly

4. What comes to mind?
Is the practice of having students do local field work for an anthropology course (assuming collage is an urban setting)

Uses anthropological techniques to interpret and analyze mass media
