Benefits for America Other nations started giving America respect for its fighting skills Country became unified.

Significance The unity created a heightened sense of Nationalism in the country. New Industries were developed because of the war.

Most Significant After the war, America started to ignore the effects of the war in Europe and started focusing on the West. Also, people started looking to the central government for stuff, like road construction.
