What is DECA? DECA is a co-curricular organization of students enrolled in a marketing class. Students learn to apply classroom instruction in everyday business settings through real experience. All about DECA DECAs colors are BLUE and GOLD DECAs slogan is Developing Future Leaders in Marketing and Management. DECA Mission The mission of DECA is to enhance the co-curricular education of students with interests in marketing, management and entrepreneurship. DECA helps students develop skills and competence for marketing careers, build self-esteem, experience leadership and practice community service. Organizing a Chapter 1.Marketing teacher serves as Chapter Advisor & starts chapter with at least 4 members. Within 3 years chapter must grow to at least 10 members. 2.Marketing students join the chapter and become Members which are inducted with an official ceremony. 3.Members elect Chapter Officers.
