Fuel Rules
Use the highest gear and the lowest throttle setting that will not overload the engine.
Don’t let the engine idle excessively.
Keep debris from the cooling system.
Regularly change the air and fuel filters.
Use the right fuel Winter #1 diesel: 130,000 BTU’s per gal, Summer #2 fuel: 140,000 BTU’s per gal.
Check tire pressures regularly.
Use duals only when needed.
