Please ensure that the homework that your child completes is their own work. Research and other work that they complete must be their own work. Children must not copy directly from a book or the internet. They must be able to explain what they have found out. Work can be presented in any way that they choose for example: in the form of a booklet; a poster to share with the class; a newspaper report; a letter to a real person or fictional character. Their work can include tables, charts, detailed drawings or diagrams and must be neatly handwritten. Completed projects will be displayed around the classroom and corridors as well as being shared in school assemblies. Children do need to complete each of the activities which can be returned to school as soon as they have been completed. Websites of interest for this project are: Please continue to support your child with their homework by: Listening to them read and signing their diary when they have read to you; Helping them to learn and get quicker at basic number facts in their number zumba books; Practicing their spellings with them. Many thanks in advance, Year 5 team
