The reason I want to discuss curfews is because…

4. Introduction Curfews affect teenagers a lot today.
This is a current debate between parents and their children.
Curfews should not be imposed on children.
The 3 main points that I will be using:
1) I always complete my schoolwork on time and get good grades
2) I never have caused trouble in the past (with the law or other authority figures).
3) I complete my at home chores consistently.

5. Main Point 1 Completed schoolwork on time!
Straight A student
Always do my homework when I come home
I study in school (teachers always speak highly of me)
Therefore, I should not have a curfew imposed on me because of my good school behavior (in terms of work/study).

6. Main Point 2 Not a troublemaker!
I have never been arrested.
I have never gotten into school fights/arguments
Teacher/principle have never called home for misbehaviour
Always attend class and never skip

7. Main point 3 Chores done and done on time!
I do the laundry
I do the dishes
I sometimes help cook
I clean not only my room, but the house as well!
I cut the grass

8. Conclusion
Today, I have shown how and why I should not have a curfew imposed on me.
The 3 reasons I list are because I complete all of my schoolwork on time, I am not a troublemaker, and I do all my chores.
