2 Nouns and Gender In Spanish, nouns are either masculine or feminine.
Masculine nouns usually end in o Ex. Carro Feminine nouns usually end in a Ex. Comida

3 Definite Articles Mean the and there are 4 forms in Spanish:
Masculine Singular El Plural Los Feminine La Las When using the verb gusta(n) to say someone likes something, place the article el, la, los or las in front of the noun. Ex. Me gusta la pizza. 

4 Making Nouns Plural If the noun ends in a vowel add s.
Ex. carrocarros If the noun ends in a consonant (non vowel) add es Ex. animalanimales If the noun ends in a z, change the z to a c and add es. lápizlapices The articles also need to be made plural: el becomes los Ex. el carrolos carros la becomes las Ex. la pizzalas pizzas
