What is an independent clause? What are the 3 ways to join two independent clauses? ? What is the 1 way to join an independent clause with a dependent clause?

Group Activity Each of you has one of the following: independent, dependent, punctuation with a conjunction, punctuation Create groups With at least 2 and no more than 3 people to create a compound/complex sentence the sentence does NOT have to make logical sense, but it must be grammatically correct Don’t worry about ending the sentence with puncuation

Trivia???? Small groups/teams Create a school appropriate team name
Each team/group gets answer choices (a,b,c,d and f, g,h,j) We will review questions on the board Mr. Craven will read the question and answer choices, you will get a set amount of time to confer with your team and pick a letter/answer choice Once mr. craven says it is time, on the count of three every team will show their choice at once and hold it Once mr. craven gets your score, we will then go over the question and answer choices Remember the goal of this is to learn!!!! If learning is not taking place, we will not play trivia

Does anyone have a friend that interrupts conversations just to add unimportant information? Any and all thoughts/ideas about the word “essential” What does the prefix “non” mean? If something is non-essential, what does that mean?
