2. K’nex Pieces Choose a K’nex piece to work with today.
Bring the container to your desk.
You will also need a mass balance and an extra container.

3. K’nex Pieces
Create a data table with columns for number of pieces and mass in grams.
Count out 5, 10, 15, etc pieces and mass each group.

4. K’nex Pieces Create a graph of mass vs. number of pieces.
Use this graph to predict the mass of one piece. This is the slope of the line.
Mass the entire container and use your graph to determine how many pieces are in the container.

5. K’nex Pieces Dress up the graph to make it look presentable.
Include the answers on your graph or data table.
Print your graph and place it in the block 1 bin. Make sure that your name is on it.
