Rome City Schools Quality Academics Athletics And Arts Amended High School Graduation Requirements Beginning with the freshmen class of 2011, all students will take core course work in English, math, science, and social studies that will lead to a college prep endorsement seal on their high school diploma. There will be no “tech” English, math, science, or social studies.

Rome City Schools Quality Academics Athletics And Arts College Preparatory – two-year college program This program integrates academic and Career, Technological, and Agricultural Education (CTAE) studies. Program completion will lead to post graduate studies at a two-year community college or a technical college. Students will not be NCAA eligible under this college program.

Rome City Schools Quality Academics Athletics And Arts College Preparatory – four-year college program This program is a challenging academic experience for students who plan to attend a four-year college or university.

Rome City Schools Quality Academics Athletics And Arts College Preparatory Advanced – four-year college program This program is a rigorous academic experience for students in the Gifted program or for those students electing this program. The program will be based on the college preparatory curriculum, but will require additional academic assignments including two Advanced Placement (A.P.) courses.
