Choose one of the following tasks and write a short response in your book.
If you were Tulip’s mother, what would you say about the phone calls you kept having from Miss Golightly about her bad behaviour?
If you were Natalie’s mother, what would you have to say about Tulip hanging around The Palace?
If you were Natalie what would you do to avoid Tulip?
If you were Tulip how would you feel about everyone avoiding you all the time?

4. Fire! In Chapter 6 Natalie tells us that Tulip has a passion for fire.
Write down two examples that she gives.
What effect does this have on your opinion of her?

5. Agony Aunt
In pairs you will each choose one of the following characters: Natalie or Tulip.
You will write a letter to an agony aunt about your feelings and emotions as that character now that you have discovered/exposed the true Tulip.
