1 Home Base January 18, 2017 Precepts

2 What is a precept? According to the Merriam-Webster Dictionary a precept is: “a command or principle intended especially as a rule of action.” That’s a fancy way of saying “words to live by.”

3 Where to find precepts? You may have noticed posters with precepts hanging on the walls around the building. Each of these is intended to give you pieces of wisdom to think about and guide you through your junior high journey and beyond. A new precept is put up somewhere in the halls each school day. Today we are giving you a few bonus thoughts. Take a minute to read each new one and think about it’s meaning to you.
