2. Description
The circuit was designed as an aid in parking the car near the garage wall when backing up
A Strip of LED’s are used to indicate the distance of the vehicle from the wall
All distance measured may vary , depending on the infra-red transmitting and receiving LED’s used
The device sensitivity is mostly affected by the color of the reflecting surface

3. Scope and Applications
Acts as a parking aid for vehicles being parked in garages
By adding an IR based motion sensor the service can be extended to open parking also
We can use this circuit in other applications like liquids level detection etc.
