Steps to Diversity Create a diverse executive team
Collaborate with diverse vendors, service providers, business partners Seek reciprocity for licensing agreements Address transportation issues Accommodate veterans, disabled persons, nursing mothers, religious practices, workers in recovery, paid family leave Train staff and volunteers about embracing people of diverse backgrounds Ensure that all meetings are safe for all employees, volunteers and board members. Have a policy that allows people to address differences without being reprimanded and to allow personal reflection on behavior. Look at your donation data, look for trends missed due to diversity
