3. Basic Idea of radiosity: all surfaces considered to be Lambertian reflectors, both light sources and nonlight sources
All surfaces reflect light. Sources reflect more than they receive.
Radiosity calculates the intensity of arriving light, which is used to do shading.
Soft shadows, color bleeding, diffuse reflection (without ambient component) all happen via the same basic algorithm
