Two ways of participation:
Looking for partners for your own proposal
Interested in receiving project ideas to join within your areas of interest
 Visit or contact your National Representative.

6. How does the Partner Search Work?
Step 1 The user wishes to insert a new Partner Search on
Ideal-ist User
Ideal-ist User registers to the mailing list & selects call specific areas of interest
Step 3 Web page creation of the accepted proposal and submission to Idealist34 network
Step 2 After the user has inserted and saved the form, the server sends an to the local Ideal-ist Rep. with a link to the form for him to validate
Local IDEAL-IST REP.
Feedback: reviews PS and approves / advice modifications
DE; DK; BE; AT; etc.

Replies after a few hours, within four weeks
More than 1,500 searches since March 1999 (FP5 1st Call).
92% of PS successful – consortia formed

39% of proposals from Newcomers
IST Call 3: 12 PS
NMP/IST Joint Call: 17 PS
IST Call 4: almost 125 new partner searches
11 of them in eHealth
IST Call 5: already 7 searches
